“Writers at the Crossroads”

It seems hard to believe that this will be the seventh year in a row that Crossroads Branch has been the site of “Writers at the Crossroads”. When I first presented the concept to the Cambridge Writers Group in 2010, it was met with enthusiasm and has continued to grow ever since. The dedication of the Writers Group has been so amazing to watch! These are community minded individuals willing to unselfishly share their time and talent with others.

Attendees at the program are privileged to hear both national and local authors read aloud excerpts from their novels and short stories. Participating authors always stay afterwards to mingle with the public and sign copies of their work (many of which are available for purchase that day). And who doesn’t love pizza! The group is gracious enough to provide free pizza and beverages to all who attend.

Please consider spending some time meeting your fellow citizens and writers as they entertain us with original creations. This year’s event will be held Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at 63500 Byesville Rd., Cambridge Ohio 43725. Free admission. Any and all donations will be applied towards future library programming events.
